As Olimpia Milano announced, coach Jasmin Repesa won’t travel with the rest of the team to Tel Aviv for the game vs Maccabi Tel Aviv for the 25th round of the EuroLeague regular season due to sickness.
Assistants Massimo Cancellieri and Mario Fioretti will act as head coaches in a match that carries only an interest of prestige for both teams, since their playoffs chances are less than slim.
Maccabi is 12th in the standings (tied with Brose Bamberg and Galatasaray) with a 8 – 16 record while Milano is in the last place at 7 – 15, same win/loss ratio as Unics Kazan.
