Kostas Sloukas has been training full time with the rest of his teammates in the past days and is expected to play in the upcoming road game of Fenerbahce against Real Madrid on Friday (31/3) for the 29th Round of the EuroLeague regular season.

The Greek guard had been sidelined for over almost a month after due to a left knee meniscus problem for which he underwent surgery in Athens. Now he’s back and at a critical moment for his team.

After suffering three defeats in the past five games (with Sloukas was absent) Fenerbahce is currently tied with Panathinaikos in the standings at a 17 – 11 record and is in danger of losing the fourth spot and, subsequently, the home court advantage in the quarterfinals.

If the Greens make the 2/2 (vs CSKA Moscow at home and Maccabi Tel Aviv on the road) n the regular season then the Turkish squad also need to finish with two victories in order to preserve their position as 4th since they own the tiebreaker.

After Real Madrid, Fenerbahce completes the regular season against Barcelona at home.
