Luka Mitrovic signing two-year deal with Brose Bamberg

Crvena Zvezda captain Luka Mitrovic is joining Brose Bamberg on a two-year deal, according to Eurohoops sources.

The 24-year-old player will replace Italian forward Nicolo Melli in the roster of the German League champions. Melli is already reported to have a deal with Fenerbahce.

Mitrovic is going to receive a sum of €550.000 for two seasons per the contract arrangement between him and the Bavarians. Joining Brose Bamberg is going to be his first time he’s venturing outside of Serbia.

The Serbian forrward averaged 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15:42 minutes per game in the 2016/2017 season where Red Star fell one victory short of the playoffs. He has been a three-time ABA League champion (2015, 2016, 2017) and two-time Serbian League champion (2015,2016) with his now former team.
