Anthony Randolph out with foot injury

Real Madrid announced that Anthony Randolph suffered a stress injury at the base of the third metatarsal bone of his right foot in Tuesday’s (15/11) blowout defeat to Baskonia.

This is the second injury that the American forward/center sustains since the beginning of the season. He had previously stayed out for almost two weeks after hurting his shoulder in the EuroLeague match vs CSKA Moscow.

Randolph, 28, will now stay out during a “crisis period” of his team. An injury-plagued (Ognjen Kuzmic is out of the season and Gustavo Ayon will be sidelined for months) Real Madrid has lost three EuroLeague games in a row (against Khimki Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and Baskonia) plus the Spanish League “Clasico” vs Barcelona at home.

Last night’s loss to Baskonia was actually the largest the “Blancos” have suffered in the modern EuroLeague era.
