“Congrats to Khimki and to Shved who was a killer tonight. We played a good game, we were solid tonight, but Shved killed us.  Khimki has a strong team and we lack size and we don’t have a deep bench. Because of that in order to win this game, we had to be perfect and we weren’t.”, said Brose Bamberg’s coach Andrea Trinchieri.

“First of all, I congrats to my team for this win. I have to say this was a very, very, very important game for us. After three losses, and Thomas Robinson’s injury this was a must-win game for our team.”, coach Georgios Bartzokas said in his opening statement.

“We are very happy for the win, especially me. We played against a very good team with a lot of experienced players. They put a lot of pressure on us, especially when they used small-ball lineup. We answered it with our bigs as Taylor Honeycutt did a lot for us in that period. We played creatively as we had 20 assists Winning the games is what gives you confidence”.

Despite the winning coach Bartozkas was concerned about Stefan Markovic who injured in the first half. “Stefan Markovic sprained his ankle and we will have to see how long he will be out”.
