Ataman: “Jackson was offered but we don’t consider him”

Following the victory over Crvena Zvezda, Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman confirmed that Edwin Jackson was proposed to his team and said that there are no plans of signing him.

“Edwin Jackson was offered to us, that’s correct but we have 8 foreign players in Turkish League right now. We can’t register another player because of the limit, so we don’t consider him. Josh Adams and Ricky Ledo have left the team which made us think if we would have a problem on our bench. But especially between guards, we had a good rotation,” Ataman said in the post-game presser.
Jackson, who left Guangdong Southen Tigers, could bring an offensive spark to any EuroLeague team but Efes isn’t searching to acquire any new player, Ataman added.
“For now, we aren’t looking to sign any players. Edwin Jackson has been offered to us, he is a pretty good player too, but we don’t consider him right now”
