Khimki Moscow announced that EuroLeague will study the complaint that the club filed regarding the events that took place in the controversial finale of Game 4 of the EuroLeague playoffs between the team and fellow Russian side CSKA Moscow.

With 5 seconds remaining in the match, Khimki guard Charles Jenkins scored a potential game-winner that could force a Game 5. The referees, however, interrupted the game a bit before his attempt and the basket didn’t count.

The announcement by Khimki is as follows:

“Euroleague reacted to the official complaint of our club and today they sent a letter, saying that they will examine the episode in the last seconds of the fourth game of the playoffs series vs. CSKA Moscow. EuroLeague asked us to send written reports of all officials of the match that were on the referee table, as well as the player of our team (Tyler Honeycutt) who was supposed to be substituted in the game.

The reports should reflect the views of these individuals, starting with Will Clyburn’s foul on Anthony Gill (20.7 seconds before the end of the game) and ending with Stefan Markovic’s inbounds pass with 5.7 seconds left.”
