Nikos Pappas met with Panathinaikos’ administration on Thursday to discuss on his contract renewal, though the player’s side turned down two proposals made by the Greens.

The first one concerned a four-year, 3 million euros deal (1+1+1+1), with a team option for each summer. After its rejection, Panathinaikos offered Pappas a guaranteed contract through the 2019-20 season, with an annual salary of 600k and 700k euros each season.

According to Eurohoops sources, Panathinaikos is dissatisfied with Pappas’ rejection and will start being on the lookout for his replacement, since the team wants to continue with its plan for next season.
