VITORIA-GASTEIZ – Zeljko Obradovic didn’t hide his disappointment after the end of the Final Four. Fenerbahce BEKO finished a regular season to remember but failed in the Final Four.

As coach Zeljko Obradovic said: “Real Madrid is a team which punishes you if you are not concentrated, especially in transition. As I said we had an incredible season, but we didn’t play our basketball in the Final Four for various reasons. And this is how it is. I am proud of my players and we will try to change everything for the next game in the Turkish league”.

Obradovic was also asked about the condition of injured Erick Green: “I don’t know yet. He is going to the hospital for MRI”.  However, after the initial shock, according to Eurohoops sources Green had avoided the worst possible scenario of a severe injury.

Speaking about the quality of the Final Four and of EuroLeague basketball in general, Obradovic added: “The quality of the game is high and everyone understands it. First of all the fans who attended the games in record numbers”.
