Nikola Milutinov’s representatives met today with Olympiacos management and the two sides seem to be on the same page. That means Milutinov’s future can be in Piraeus and the two sides decided to meet again soon.

According to Greek radio Sport FM FC Barcelona Lassa has made an offer to Serb big man Nikola Milutinov for a three-year deal which will pay him seven million euros including taxes. However, the side of the player denies that any offer has been made from Barcelona which just expressed its interest for the Serb big man.

It has to be noted that Milutinov has a contract for next season with Olympiacos which includes only a buyout for the NBA. The San Antonio Spurs have the NBA rights of the player and they are following him closely during his years in Greece.

However, Milutinov is a hot commodity, CSKA Moscow was also interested in him and Olympiacos may decide to negotiate his buyout with another EuroLeague team.

At this point, the Reds don’t seem eager to talk about this possibility, since they have other priorities. They are waiting to know if the Adriatic League will accept their intention to be part of the league, or if they have to settle for playing next season only in the EuroLeague and in the second division of Greece.
