Real Madrid signed American center Jordan Mickey to a two-year deal according to Eurohoops sources.

Mickey, 24, had been a free agent following the completion of his debut campaign in Europe with Khimki Moscow. The former Louisiana player averaged 13.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 22:33 minutes over 28 EuroLeague games and was considered one of the top big guys in the competition.

In VTB League, Mickey posted 15.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 23:08 minutes. He helped Khimki reach the competition’s Finals and thus gain a spot in the 2019-2020 EuroLeague.

So far in the 2019 offseason, Real Madrid has signed reigning EuroLeague Defensive Player of the Year Edy Tavares to a new five-year contract. The “Blancos” have also extended swingman Jeff Taylor through 2022.
