Crvena Zvezda announced that guard Charles Jenkins signed a two-year contract for his return to the club.
Jenkins, a Zvezda fan favorite, is back for his third stint with Red Star following a two-year stint with Khimki Moscow in Russia. With Khimki, Jenkins averaged 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24:26 minutes over 24 games during the 2019 EuroLeague.
In VTB League, Jenkins and Khimki made the Finals to punch a ticket to the 2019-2020 EuroLeague. The 30-year-old American player had 5.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 22:18 over 36 matches.
Jenkins previously played with Zvezda from 2013 to 2015 and 2016-2017. He’s won two ABA League and two Serbian championship titles with the team. In 2017, he was named ABA Finals MVP.
