Sergio Llull was diagnosed with a muscle injury in the right femoral bicep, Real Madrid announced on Tuesday. The 32-year-old Spaniard point guard went through medical tests today, but further evaluation will determine a timetable for his recovery.

Llull was injured during Sunday’s ACB Regular Season Round 10 contest against Herbalife Gran Canaria. Despite being hurt, he helped his team improve to 9-1 in the Spanish league with 14 points.

The streaking Whites will look to jump to 8-3 in EuroLeague, but are expected to face Zenit Saint-Petersburg without the two-time EuroLeague champion on Friday. Llull is considered highly questionable for the Regular Season Round 11 road match, will likely miss additional games.

So far he took part in all ten games of Real Madrid in Europe’s premier competition averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds per appearance. In ACB, he has 13.6 points, 3.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds per contest.
