Real Madrid reportedly extends Anthony Randolph

Anthony Randolph has agreed with Real Madrid to extend his stay at the Spanish club up to the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, according to Spanish outlet Encestando.

The LSU alumni has been with the Whites since 2016 and is among the lasting members of the 2018 EuroLeague championship squad, but has been particularly hot this season. Posting 12.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1 steal per contest through his first ten appearances led him to the early contract extension.

Randolph went a long way from a questionable future with Madrid in the summer to his current situation. Injury woes of fellow bigs secured him a prominent spot in Pablo Laso’s rotation and the chance to reaffirm himself.

After ten games in the latest edition of Europe’s premier club competition, Real is up 7-3, one win behind first place. A 9-1 W-L tally is good enough to lead the ACB table.
