AX Armani Exchange Milan defeated Valencia Basket 78-71 in Round 15 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and put an end to its five-game losing streak.

Amedeo Della Valle and Kaleb Tarczewski were Mian’s two key players in this victory. Della Valle finished the game with 15 points and three rebounds. “It feels great because we are coming out of a losing streak. We felt a little bit of pressure because this was a mandatory win for us and we are very, very happy to have this result”, he mentioned. At the same time, Tarczewski posted 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Sergio Rodriguez also finished in double digits with 10 points.

Bojan Dubljevic led Valencia with a game-high performance of 20 points and six rebounds.

Milan back on winning track

Milan stepped foot on the game knowing they had to end their losing streak, though Valencia didn’t make it easy for the hosts. After an even score of 43 points at halftime, Milan used great defense to lead 62-53 at the end of the third quarter.

Despite Valencia’s attempts to bounce back in the game, Sergio Rodriguez (10 points) and Vladimir Micov (13 points) were there to save the day for the Italian side.
