Fenerbahce adds size with Malcolm Thomas

Following the departure of Vladimir Stimac, Fenerbahce Beko signed Malcolm Thomas for the rest of the 2019-20 season, the Turkish team informed via press release on Monday.

Previous EuroLeague experience of the San Diego State alum comes in the form of 79 games between Maccabi Tel Aviv back in the 2012-13 and Khimki Moscow Region the past couple of seasons, 2017-18 and 2018-19. Started his current campaign in China’s CBA with the Shanxi Loongs.

Additionally competed in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz and Philadelphia 76ers. His career so far includes stints in the G League and Puerto Rico as well.

His strong and athletic presence in the paint was brought to cover the gap left by Stimac in Zeljko Obradovic’s squad. Fener is currently 5-10 in EuroLeague, 10-3 in BSL.
