Eric Maynor is back in Varese

Eric Maynor returns to the club with which he made his debut in Europe in 2015, signing a one-year contract with Pallacanestro Varese, as the club announced.

A player with an 8-year experience in the NBA, Maynor previously belonged to Russian Nizhny Novgorod, but stayed sidelined for the vast majority of the previous season due to a knee injury.

The last time he played for Varese, he had averaged 13.5 points, 7.4 points and 4 rebounds per game in 15 Italian League games.

“I am very happy to coach a player like Maynor, an athlete who impressed the fans Varese in his previous brief appearance in Italy”, said the team’s coach Paolo Moretti. “I strongly believe that the reasons that led Eric again with us,, will give us a great boost to compete in both Italy and Europe”.
