CSKA beat Kalev on the road with 68-87, improving to 6-0 in the VTB league.
After a challenging start in the game, CSKA was up by one point after the first 10 minutes, 18-19. However, things changed drastically in the second quarter, when the visitors kept Kalev at just 12 points and led 30-43.
During the second half, the deficit started rising and even reached the 22-point mark after 30 minutes, 44-66. Halfway through the final period, Kalev reduced to 12 points, but CSKA didn’t allow a total comeback in the end.
For the winners, Vitaly Fridzon scored 15 points, Milos Teodosic had 12, while Dmitriy Kulagin and Nikita Kurbanov shared 11 and Aaron Jackson added 10.
