Dazzling, spectacular… exhilarating! Words can’t even begin to describe the performance of Milos Teodosic with which he led CSKA Moscow to a 112 – 84 blowout victory over Baskonia.

The Serbian wizard registered a new EuroLeague career high in points, dropping 34 on the head of the Basques, while dishing 10 assists. His dimes didn’t only empower the Russians’ offense in the best possible manner but made him the third player to reach 1000th assists in EuroLeague history.

All these while he also made a new personal index rating record with a number of 43!

Through his blazing action, CSKA Moscow successfully recovered from the early stun received by Baskonia (17 – 27 in the first quarter). Coach Itoudis’ players first balanced the situation (49 – 46) and during the second half, they absolutely dominated their opponents in any way imaginable.

Even though the guests didn’t have a problem making buckets, via the efforts of Rodrigue Beaubois (19 points), Shane Larkin (18 points) or Adam Hanga (13 points), they couldn’t even disturb their opponents’ raving offensive output, getting outscored 34 – 23 in the third period.

Milos and CSKA weren’t up for down tuning their rhythm, even when they got ahead by 20 points, 89 – 69, inflicting one blow after the other to the Spanish team’s defense. Baskonia crumbled down, accepting its fate.

Vitaly Fridzon helped the winning efforts of his team with 14 points, while James Augustine added 13 plus 10 rebounds. Near the end, the Russians opened their rotation using players like Mikhail Kulagin (6 points) who made his season debut in just the second EuroLeague game of his career.
