Galatasaray beats Muratbey Usak at home

In Day 9 of the Turkish league, Galatasaray beat Muratbey Usak at home with 83-73. The hosts improved to 7-2 in the standings, leaving Usak at 2-7.

Emir Preldzic led the winners with 24 points and an awe-inspiring buzzer in the end, while Vladimir Micov followed with 18. Tibor Pleiss and Ege Arar scored 10 points each.

For Muratbey Usak, Evaldas Kairys had 25 points and 9 rebounds, Mark Steven Lyons scored 13 and Rolands Freimanis finished the game with 12.

Ergin Ataman’s team was in charge during most of the game, only allowing Usak to partly reduce the deficit at times. With a 12-point advantage at halftime (48-36), the hosts were on to an easy evening. In the final period of the game, Usak kept the deficit at a single-digit mark, though there was no actual comeback in the game.

The visitors played without Daryl Monroe, who has been reportedly left out of roster.
