CSKA Moscow took down Brose Bamberg 85-64 at home, with Nando De Colo leading the way for the hosts that improved to 14-4 in the standings. Though in their last meeting in December, Bamberg (7-11) edged the Russians, this time it was a one-team show.

The French guard scored 26 points and handed 5 assists, Kyle Hines followed with 13 and Nikita Kurbanov and Vitaly Fridzon added 10 points each.

Daniel Theis was the leader of Andrea Trichieri’s team with 16 points, while Nicolo Melli added 15.

Strelnieks put the German team ahead for the first and the last time in the game at 6′, 12-13, though after the first quarter they were only down by 4, 21-17. De Colo’s offensive contribution in the second period kept Dimitris Itoudis’ team up 44-33 at halftime, with Melli being the only threat from the opposing team.

Hines and De Colo executed Bamberg’s defense with masterful shots throughout the third period, with both being perfect in their 2-pointer percentages. The deficit rose to 21 points after 30 minutes, 69-48.

The deficit kept growing and reached its peak at 36′, with Hines making it 81-57. Still, it was too late for the visitors to attempt a comeback to the game and surrendered shortly after.
