Boiling with momentum from its latest victories, Crvena Zvezda didn’t face any serious problem against Igokea on the road, winning 77 – 68 and improving its ABA League record to an amazing 19/19.
Marko Simonovic scored a 22 points game-high while also grabbing 5 rebounds. Nate Wolters added 10 points while Stefan Jovic dished out 8 assists, got 4 boards and delivered some dribbling magic as well.
Igokea had managed to remain quite close at halftime (38-39) but was routed 8 – 19 in the third period which proved to be decisive. Vuk Radivojevic had 18 points plus 7 rebounds and Strahinja Micovic 15 points but couldn’t prevent the ninth ABA loss for their team this season.
