In a high-scoring duel that was deciding the fate of teams in Group B, Tofas grabbed a 103-97 road win and advanced to the Basketball Champions League playoffs.

Not only that but they also made up for the deficit from the loss in the first match against Nymburk which means they seal the first spot in the group. Nymburk goes to the playoffs as well while Dijon gets eliminated in the triangle of teams with the same 4-2 record.

Tomislav Zubcic led the way with 27 points while DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell added 23 and Semaj Christon 19 points. Tarik Phillip scored 16.

For Nymburk, Omar Prewitt scored 24 and Vojtech Hruban 17 points with Hayden Dalton adding 15.

Although Nymburk had 30-22 and 56-46 leads in the first half, Tofas bounced back and the game was tied at 89 with four minutes left.

Tomislav Zubcic and Tark Phillip made some timely threes and free throws down the stretch to keep Tofas ahead while Semaj Christon’s driving layup at 17 seconds left sealed the deal.
