Despite being already eliminated from the Basketball Champions League Final Eight contention, Tofas Bursa came out strong and handed a 90-79 loss to Pinar Karsiyaka.

That puts Karsiyaka at a 2-3 record and in a difficult position as they have to chase down Hapoel Unet-Credit Holon and Happy Casa Brindisi which play each other this week and both currently hold a 3-1 record.

Tomislav Zubcic led the way with 21 points on 5-6 from deep followed by DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell with 18 and Muhsin Yasar with 13 points.
