Hereda San Pablo Burgos announced that Tyrus McGee has signed a deal with the team for the upcoming season.

Per Hereda San Pablo Burgos:

Tyrus McGee (03/14/1991, Stringtown, Oklahoma, United States) has become the first signing of Hereda San Pablo Burgos to be part of the squad that will compete in the Liga Endesa ACB and in the Basketball Champions League during the next 2021/22 season. The 1.89m guard stands out for his great scoring ability from the outside and completes his virtues with the penetration to the basket and the effort in defense.

The American began his sports career with the Cowley Community College in Iowa team, where he played until 2013. In August of that year, the guard signed for CB Breogán, alongside whom he competed for a season in LEB Oro.

The following season, McGee moved on to the German Basketball Bundesliga, where he competed with Eisbaren Bremerhaven before moving to Italy’s Lega A, with Orlandina Basket. Between 2015 and 2019, he was part of several Italian teams: Vanoli Cremona, Umana Venezi and Banco di Sardegna Sassari.

The guard signed for French Pau-Orthez for the 2019/20 season, with which he played the French league and the Basketball Champions League. Their averages between both competitions were 12.86 points per game and a 39% accuracy from the outside line. Last season, Tyrus McGee was part of the Hapoel Unet Holon squad, with whom he played in the Israeli league and in the BCL, and averaged 15.26 points per game and 44% accuracy on the perimeter. In both courses, the player faced the Burgos team in the continental competition.

From San Pablo Burgos, we want to wish all the luck in the world to Tyrus McGee for this new stage of his sports career.
