Nizhny Novgorod brings in Mikhail Kulagin

Nizhny Novgorod tabbed Mikhail Kulagin for the next season, the team announced Tuesday.

Kulagin, 26, is coming off a solid campaign at Enisey Krasnoyarsk. He averaged 13.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per VTB United League match over 21 appearances.

The two-time Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion with CSKA moves on to Nizhny Novgorod and the Basketball Champions League as the third summer addition after Speedy Smith and the return of Dmitry Khvostov.

The Russian team building up its roster is heading towards BCL Regular Season action against JDA Dijon, Unicaja Malaga, and Lavrio Megabolt, in packed Group C.
