VEF Riga signed forward Rayshaun Hammonds to a deal, the team officially announced Thursday.

22-year-old Hammonds spent three seasons with Georgia Bulldogs in the NCAA (2017-2020). He went undrafted in the 2020 NBA draft and signed a deal with the Indiana Pacers later last year with from which he was waved in December.

Hammond spent the previous season with G League’s Fort Wayne Mad Ants, with an average of 6.1 points, 4.8 rebounds across 11.4 minutes.

This will be Hammonds’ first European experience and he is expected to make his Basketball Champions League debut this season.
