Basketball Champions League partners with Stats Perform

The Basketball Champions League announced a deal with Stats Perform which will continue to bring opta data to the competition until 2024.

The Basketball Champions League today announced a multi-year agreement with Stats Perform, the tech leader in data and artificial intelligence, to bring opta data to the BCL until 2024.

The partnership will deliver AI-powered official insight data to fans, clubs & players, broadcasters, media and publishers, producing never-before-seen patterns and understanding of the competition.

Through deep historical database, live data expertise and season-to-date cumulative stats, this collaboration will allow the BCL to leverage Stats Perform’s advanced AI features, in order to bring basketball fans and media closer together and to build unique, engaging digital sports experiences.

“Partnering with Stats Perform was an obvious choice,” said Patrick Comninos, BCL CEO. “Their ability to distribute sports content will improve both the media coverage and the fan experience of our competition, by creating innovative content. This partnership will allow us to enhance the availability of BCL data, making it more accessible to all our various stakeholders,” he added.
