Brindisi gets past Darussafaka for the first win

Happy Casa Brindisi had to wait for a while to get its first win this season in the Basketball Champions League but they succeeded with an 82-73 victory over Darussafaka.

The Italians improved to 1-3 while Darussafaka stayed at one win (1-2) and is still one game behind in the schedule.

Dacka was ahead 43-41 at halftime but Nathan Adrian and Josh Perkins made a 7-0 run for Brindisi which reached a double-digit lead in the third quarter (61-51) and managed to hold on until the end.

Perkins led the scorers of the winning team with 16 points while Adrian had 15 and Nick Perkins 13 points. The latter also grabbed eight rebounds.

On the opposing side, Wayne McCullough banked in game-high 22 points while Nathan Boothe helped out with 16.
