After parting ways with Salva Maldonado, Hereda San Pablo Burgos announced that the new head coach of the team is Paco Olmos.

Per Hereda San Pablo Burgos:

Paco Olmos (07/10/1970, Valencia) will be the new coach of Hereda San Pablo Burgos in the current 2021/22 season, in which he will lead the Burgos on their journey through the Endesa League and the Basketball Champions League. The coach arrives at the Castilian entity after the club made effective the termination clause that it had with CB Breogán and signs a contract that includes this course and two more seasons.

The beginnings of Paco Olmos on the benches in the nineties are linked to Valencia Basket in his hometown, where he led several lower-level teams and held the position of assistant coach in the Taronja first team.

After several years training clubs of different national categories, Olmos returned to Valencia to take charge of Pamesa Valencia in the 2002/03 season, where he remained for two seasons before directing two LEB teams: CB Calpe, in the 2005/06 academic year, and the Melilla Baloncesto Club, between 2006 and 2009. Later, the Valencian returned to be linked with the club of his native land. After directing Menorca Basket, Olmos again took charge of the taronja team in the 2011/12 season.

The next stage of his career took him to the American continent, where he led Puerto Rican and Mexican teams, in addition to assuming the position of the coach with the national teams of both countries at different times. As the coach of Puerto Rico, Olmos participated in the Basketball World Cup held in Spain in 2014.

After these experiences on the American continent, the coach joined CB Breogán in the summer of 2021, which he has trained in the current Endesa League campaign.

From Hereda San Pablo Burgos, we want to wish Paco Olmos all the luck in the world in this new stage of his coaching career.
