Keeping a good mode, Limoges CSP reinforces the squad following the epic overtime win in the do-or-die away affair opposite MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg last night.

Malcolm Miller was signed as injury relief for Desi Rodriguez, the team announced Thursday.

Rodriguez, 26, was recently sidelined for six weeks. He was not available in Game 3 of the best-of-three series of the Basketball Champions League Play-Ins. Overcoming his absence and a 22-point deficit, CSP stormed back and Bryce Jones hitting an overtime buzzer-beater got the job done in MHPArena. The former Seton Hall standout emerged as a leading member of the team averaging team-highs of 16.9 points and 6.3 rebounds prior to entering the injury list.

Miller, 29, carries previous European experience playing for Alba Berlin in the 7DAYS EuroCup and Germany’s easyCredit BBL back in the 2016-17 season. He also displayed his talents in Italy for Vanoli Cremona over the first half of the 2021-22 season. His NBA career stretches to 64 games played with the Toronto Raptors including the 2019 championship. He additionally made his way to 111 G League games between the Salt Lake City Stars, Raptors 905, and Maine Red Claws.

Joining the team coached by Massimo Cancellieri, the Holy Cross product will march into the BCL Round of 16. Limoges is part of Group K and set to take on Galatasaray Nef, Unicaja, and AEK. The top two spots award a berth in the Quarterfinals. At the domestic level, the 9-8 record is tied for seventh in France’s Betclic Elite LNB Pro A.
