AEK announced Omiros Netzipoglou, Kyle Weems joined Derthona

As officially announced, AEK Athens completed the signing of Omiros Netzipoglou from Aris Thessaloniki. The 20-year-old guard has signed a four-year contract with the team.

In the 2021-2022 season, he was named the Greek League’s Best Young Player, averaging 5.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

Last season, Netzipoglou played in 22 games, recording 5.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Kyle Weems to Play for Bertram Derthona

Basketball Champions League debutant, Bertram Derthona, has added a valuable asset to its ambitious team in Kyle Weems.

The 33-year-old US player will remain in Italy after spending four seasons with Virtus Bologna.

Weems averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in the EuroLeague last season and 9.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in Legabasket.
