Rio Breogan has brought in a big reinforcement for the upcoming season by signing a contract with Greek international Dimitrios Agravanis.

Agravanis is a physical pivot with great mobility, rebounding, and defensive ability. His arrival at Río Breogán will bring experience, intensity, and character to the interior game,” as stated by the Spanish club.

Having started his career with the Greek team Maroussi, Agravanis has played for teams such as Panionios, Olympiacos, where he spent five seasons, Promitheas Patras where he spent three, and last season (22/23) with Napoli Basket, Peristeri, and Panathinaikos.

In 2015, he was selected in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA, but he never had the opportunity to play in the league.

During the last season with Panathinaikos, to which he joined late, he averaged 8.2 points and 4.1 rebounds.

In the last qualifying phase of the Greek national team for the World Cup, the 28-year-old Agravanis averaged 13.7 points and 5.6 rebounds
