Starting in 2016 and entering the 2023-24 basketball year, the Basketball Champions League will have its 8th season, the “Infinity” one. With a video that recalls all the past winners with a view on the future, the European competition unveiled its main protagonists for the Regular Season set to start on October 17.
Coming back all the way to the victories of Tenerife (2017 and 2022), AEK Athens (2018), Virtus Bologna (2019), San Pablo Burgos (2020 and 2021), and finally Telekom Baskets Bonn (2023), the trailer shows players with new uniforms, such as Retin Obasohan with the newcomer Derthona or Joe Ragland in Peristeri, or established figures like Unicaja Malaga’s Kendrick Perry or Tenerife’s Marcelinho Huertas.
With the voiceover of Jeff Taylor, the Basketball Champions League presents its 2023-24 season with the “Journey to Infinity”:
