Leading by a comfortable margin for most of the 40 minutes, UCAM Murcia made short work of Tofas on Tuesday.

The Universitarios connected 14/25 three-pointers en route to the 115-89 victory in Palacio de los Deportes.

Scoring exclusively from beyond the arc and finishing with 6/7, former Cincinnati standout Troy Caupain recorded 12 of his 18 points in the third quarter of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season contest. His best showing since joining Murcia before the 2023-24 season.

Montenegrin Nemanja Radovic took care of business inside with 15 points behind 7/10 two-pointers in the Gameday 3 contest. The pair from Sweden, Simon Birgander and Ludvig Hakanson added 12 points each in the fourth win in a row across all competitions, stretching from the BCL to a 6-3 start in Spain’s Liga Endesa.

Sito Alonso’s side is now 2-1 in Group H. The latest success in FIBA Europe’s top-tier club continental competition marked the 18th win over the last 19 home affairs. Resuming the domestic campaign, coming up next is a huge home game against FC Barcelona on Sunday.

Caleb Homesley and Cassius Winston shared a team-high 17 points for the Bursa outfit. Orhun Ene’s players were effective from long range with 12/27 in Murcia but committing 18 turnovers did not help. Dropping to 1-2 in the four-team group makes it a six-game losing streak across all competitions since defeating Igokea m:tel in overtime in the Champions League’s opening Gameday.
