Amine Noua leaves Holon to replace Mike Daum at Tortona

There are plenty of moves around the Basketball Champions League, including Amine Noua dropping in for Bertram Derthona Tortona.

Hapoel Holon announced on Saturday that Noua left the team due to security concerns. The fellow Basketball Champions League outfit later announced his signing. The 26-year-old French power forward will replace Mike Daum on the roster for the team coached by Marco Ramondino. The American power forward recently left the Italian club to join Anadolu Efes.

The LDLC ASVEL product joined Holon in August and logged four appearances in the Champions League, adding to 18 games played with ASVEL during the inaugural 2016-17 season. Averaging 14.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest, he placed among the top players in the 3-1 start in Group F of the Regular Season.

Preparing to finally start Israel’s Winner League by meeting Hapoel Afula in Toto Arena later today, the team coached by Amit Sherf picked up Hans Vanwijn on Thursday. The Belgian power forward returns to the BCL after 55 appearances split between JDA Dijon and Telenet Giants Antwerp.

Cholet switches to Craig Randall II

Sitting at 2-2 in Group C, Cholet signed 27-year-old guard Craig Randall II on Thursday after releasing Gerry Blakes earlier this week. In his first appearance in Europe, the newcomer is expected to be available for the important Gameday 5 matchup opposite Darussafaka Lassa on Tuesday.

Former TCU standout R.J. Nembhard Jr. left Filou Oostende upon mutual agreement. He joined the Belgium champions in September after the lasting BCL original voided the contract of Patrick McCaw, but he was forced to the sidelines over recent weeks.

Another departure, Jonathan Rousselle left Dijon to continue his career at Coviran Granada. Also, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg loaned Ben Vander Plas to Siauliai for the rest of the season.

At 2-2 in Group F, the defending champion Telekom Baskets Bonn will no longer feature Ike Udanoh upon the 34-year-old big completing a short-term contract.

Injury setback for Jonathan Barreiro

Besides roster adjustments, Unicaja sidelined Jonathan Barreiro for eight to ten weeks due to a fracture of his left wrist. The 26-year-old forward averaged 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest in the 3-1 start in Group A.
