Being with the club since December 2023, the adventure of Walter De Raffaele with Derthona officially ended, the Italian club announced in a press release.
Not contending in the LBA Playoffs for the first time since moving up to the LBA, Derthona extended their run all the way to the Basketball Champions League Quarter-Finals, where they eventually lost 2-0 in the series with La Laguna Tenerife.
Prior to his coaching move to Derthona, the experienced Italian head coach was guiding Reyer Venice for seven years, where he won the FIBA Europe Cup, two Italian Championships and one Italian Cup.
