Max Fiedler signed with Filou Oostende to move his talents to the Basketball Champions League. The 24-year-old American big, a former Rice standout in the NCAA, started his professional path in the G League, playing for the Delaware Blue Coats and Texas Legends over the last two years. Expanding overseas, he joined the team coached by Giorgos Dedas, with his new side set to compete in Group G of the Regular Season.
Adding to the 2025-26 roster with yet another returning player, Mersin MSK announced a one-year contract extension to 34-year-old Justin Cobbs. In his second year with the Turkish club, the experienced point guard will debut in the BCL, playing in Group G versus back-to-back defending champion Unicaja, Oostende, and Karditsa Iaponiki.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Blazej Czapla penned a three-year contract with Group A outfit Legia Warszawa. The Polish champions are set to face Rytas, Promitheas Vikos Cola, and MLP Academics Heidelberg in the next Regular Season of FIBA Europe’s top-tier club continental competition.
Heading to Group D, opposite La Laguna Tenerife, Tofas, and Trapani Shark, Israeli club Bnei PenLink Herzliya signed 23-year-old Omer Sadeh to a three-year contract.
Returning to the Qualification Rounds after previous unsuccessful attempts with FMP Soccerbet and Mornar Bar, 24-year-old Balsa Zivanovic joined SC Derby.
Also, Uniclub Bet-Juventus completed the first summer signing in 25-year-old forward Erikas Venskus, a youth product of Zalgiris.
Elsewhere in the Qualifiers, Trepca reunited with 28-year-old Burim Zekiqi, three years after his departure.
