Michael Flowers completes Heidelberg roster, Sir’Jabari Rice signs with Nymburk

MLP Academics Heidelberg completed the 2025-26 roster with 26-year-old Michael Flowers. Heading to Group A of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season to face Rytas, Promitheas Vikos Cola, and Legia Warszawa, Heidelberg secured the services of the American point guard for the next season, placing him alongside Erol Ersek, Josia Gentischer, DJ Horne, Marcel Kessen, Kevin McClain, Dusan Neskovic, Osun Osunniyi, Mateo Seric, Dominic Vengert, Marcus Weathers, Michael Weathers, Samuell Williamson, Niklas Wurzner, and Paul Zipser in the season squad.

At the top of the 2024-25 journey with Windrose Giants Antwerp, Flowers participated in the BCL Qualification Rounds before switching to the FIBA Europe Cup. He averaged 16.8 points per game over six appearances in the second-tier club continental competition of FIBA Europe. The former Washington State, South Alabama, and Western Michigan NCAA player previously appeared in the second division of Germany with Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim between 2022 and 2024.

Another recent BCL move saw ERA Nymburk picking up 26-year-old Sir’Jabari Rice in the first European assignment of the Houston native. The former Texas and Mexico State guard focused most of his first two professional campaigns in the G League. The reigning champions of Czechia’s NBL sit in Group B, opposite ALBA Berlin, Sabah, and one more team surviving a Qualifiers tournament in Samokov.

The Regular Season of the tenth Champions League year begins on October 7, following three eight-team tournaments to decide as many open spots from September 19 to 25.
