Promitheas secured a new victory in the Basketball Champions League by defeating Legia on the road in the second round match, with a score of 68-64.
One of the Greek representatives in the BCL was led to victory by the American Leyton Hammonds, who scored 20 points and grabbed four rebounds. J.P. Macura added 15 points, while Kendale McCullum had 11 points and nine assists. In the Polish team, Jayvon Graves led the scoring list with 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

In a very tough and uncertain match, where the scores of the first three quarters were very similar (17-16, 16-16, 16-18), Promitheas broke the game in the final moments. Legia stayed in the game, but the hopes of the home team were extinguished by Hammonds with a three-pointer 11 seconds before the end, giving the Greeks a five-point lead (68-63).

After two rounds, Promitheas has two victories, and in the next round, they will visit Rytas. Legia has two losses, and in a week, they will travel to Heidelberg for the third-round match.
