Spartak from Subotica achieved another victory in the Basketball Champions League, defeating Benfica in the second round, with a score of 90-74.
Top scorer for the winning team was Igor Drobnjak, who joined Subotica this summer. He had 19 points and seven assists, Olivier Hanlan scored 17 and Shevon Thompson added 16 points and nine rebounds. For Benfica, Geno Crandall scored 17 points, while Justice Sueing added three less.
After two games, Spartak has a 2-0 record, and in the third round, they will host Gran Canaria at home. On the other hand, Benfica has two losses and will face an away game against Le Mans in the next round.
