Mady Sissoko was named Player of the Week for the seventh week of the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL.
The 24-year-old forward/center got the nod on Friday, after winning a fan vote opposite the remaining Team of the Week members.
In Gameday 5 of the Regular Season, Sissoko added to a brilliant 2025-26 campaign with 21 points behind 9/12 two-pointers and 3/3 free throws, ten rebounds, two blocks, and one steal, lasting 27:28 for Trieste versus Galatasaray MCT Technic in Istanbul’s Turkcell Basketball Development Center.
Tuesday’s win shaped a 2-3 record in Group E, clinched a berth in a best-of-three Play-In series for a ticket to the Round of 16, and set up an opportunity to also secure homecourt advantage in Gameday 6 against Fitness First Wurzburg Baskets in PalaTrieste on December 17.
Averaging a league-high efficiency rating of 23.6 per contest, the Malian big has been the driving force for the team coached by Israel Gonzalez in his first professional journey, following five NCAA seasons.
