James Nunnally is the new member of AEK BC, as the club announced just after New Year’s Eve, opening 2026 with a bang.
The veteran forward returns to Europe from China to help the Basketball Champions League contender with his leadership and experience.
The 35-year-old player has seven EuroLeague seasons under his belt with Fenerbahce, Milan, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and, more recently, with Partizan, winning the trophy in 2017 with Fenerbahce.
He started his professional career back in 2012 in Greece, playing for Kavala BC, and also played a total of 37 NBA games during three different seasons with Atlanta, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Houston, and New Orleans.
AEK is already qualified for the Round of 16 and reached the BCL Final Four last season.
