Basketball Champions League Play-Ins Game 3 preview: Make-or-break situations

From the Qualification Rounds to the Regular Season, and from there to the end of the Play-Ins, with three games left to be played this week. The Round of 16 picture of the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, is set to be completed after do-or-die action across venues in Turkiye, Germany, and Hungary on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The first of three Game 3 fixtures in DVTK Arena, with NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz hosting Trieste. The Italian side dominated Game 1 in Miskolc, but Hungary’s NB I/A champions bounced back in Game 2. The winner of the decider enters Round of 16 Group L, joining La Laguna Tenerife, Dreamland Gran Canaria, and ERA Nymburk.

Another best-of-three series with successive road triumphs in the first week of the Play-Ins is wrapping up in tectake Arena on Wednesday. Fitness First Wurzburg and Patrioti Levice will be squaring off for a ticket to Group K, alongside Final Four host Joventut Badalona, back-to-back-champion Unicaja, and Elan Chalon.

ALBA Berlin, AEK, and Karditsa Iaponiki await the winner of the third meeting between Tofas and Cholet in Group J. After respective home wins in Games 1 and 2, Game 3 returns the series to Tofas Arena on Wednesday.
