Dreamland Gran Canaria completed the signing of Kassius Robertson for the remainder of the 2025-26 season on Sunday.

The 31-year-old guard is expected to formally join the team coached by Jaka Lakovic over the next few days, following a clash with Trieste in Gran Canaria Arena to open Group L in the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, on Tuesday.

Robertson is a veteran of 19 BCL games, spread between spells with UnaHotels Reggio Emilia in 2022 and medi Bayreuth through the 2018-19 campaign. He is also bouncing back in Spain’s Liga Endesa with the experience of 146 games played at Joventut Badalona, Valencia, and Monbus Obradoiro from 2020 to 2025.

At the top of this season with Lokomotiv Kuban in the VTB United League, he averaged 8.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 0.8 steals per contest over 18 games.

Beyond action at the club level, the Toronto native has played for Canada in the Qualifiers of the 2023 and 2027 installments of the FIBA World Cup, and of the FIBA AmeriCup 2023. He also holds a Jamaican passport.

With Hapoel Netanel Holon entering Group I’s six-game double-legged round-robin schedule, the addition of Adama Sanogo was announced, following an earlier corresponding move in parting ways with Nysier Brooks.

The Israeli club awaits necessary paperwork from Trapani Shark, the previous side of the 23-year-old power forward, to register the newcomer on continental and domestic squads. However, Sanogo has already traveled to Vilnius ahead of Gameday 1 of the Round of 16, opposite Rytas in Twinsbet Arena on Tuesday.

Introducing himself to FIBA Europe’s top-tier club competition with the Italian team, the former NCAA champion with Connecticut tallied 7.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.3 steals per contest over six appearances.

Sanogo logged 13 NBA appearances with the Chicago Bulls during his 2023-24 and 2024-25 journeys, despite initially going undrafted.

Representing Mali at the junior international level, he captured gold in the FIBA U16 African Championship and also played in the FIBA U17 World Cup 2018.

Behind seven appearances to increase his Champions League career total to 24, 29-year-old Brooks averaged 4.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.7 blocks, 0.3 assists, and 0.1 steals per game until his departure.

Meanwhile, Hapoel Holon also reinforced the backcourt with 25-year-old Darin Green Jr., a newcomer to the BCL and European club competitions.
