Jahmi’us Ramsey was named Player of the Week for Gameday 1 of the Round of 16 in Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL.
After entering the Team of the Week on Thursday, alongside Kendrick Perry, Lukas Lekavicius, Jack Kayil, and Michael Ruzic, the 24-year-old guard of Trieste prevailed in a fan vote to secure the Player of the Week nod, as confirmed on Friday.
On Tuesday, Ramsey lifted the Italian side over Dreamland Gran Canaria and to a fourth straight continental win on the road with 21 points on 6/11 field goals, including two three-pointers. He added five rebounds and one assist over 30:08 in Gran Canaria Arena, with the team coached by Israel Gonzalez jumping to 1-0 in Group L.
A former Texas Tech standout and veteran of 39 NBA games, he used his overseas options for the 2025-26 season, landing at Trieste. His Champions League efforts so far translate into 17.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.1 blocks per contest over ten appearances. Domestically, he is up to 18.9 points per LBA UnipolSai contest.
