Rytas scores 106 points, prevents drama, and crushes Hapoel Holon

Rytas secured a victory in the fourth round of Group I in the Round of 16 of the BCL, defeating Hapoel Holon away with a score of 106-98.

The Lithuanians were led to victory by a trio that scored an impressive 77 points. Jordan Walker and Ignas Sargiunas each recorded 27 points, while Jerrick Harding added 23. Arturas Gudaitis also contributed significantly with 14 points and eight rebounds.

For the Israeli team, Adama Sanogo was outstanding with 25 points, Xavier Munford added 19, and Jordan McRae also scored the same number of points.

The match was highly efficient and exciting, taking place in Samokov, Bulgaria, where Hapoel hosted this game. The turning point came at the end of the third and the beginning of the fourth quarter when the visitors made a 10-0 run, pulling away to a substantial 89-73 lead.

Holon managed to reduce the deficit towards the end and slightly complicate matters, but Rytas left Bulgaria with the victory and two points.

Rytas now has a 2-2 record and still holds a good chance of advancing to the quarterfinals. In the fifth round, the Lithuanians will host Le Mans. On the other hand, Hapoel Holon has lost all four of their games and is on the brink of elimination. They will face Galatasaray in the next round.
