Ignas Sargiunas of Rytas, Jeremiah Hill of Elan Chalon, Bugrahan Tuncer of Galatasaray MCT Technic, James Nunnally of AEK, and Pierre Pelos of Dreamland Gran Canaria made the Team of the Week for Gameday 4 of the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL.

The standouts were revealed on Thursday following exciting action across Europe on Tuesday and Wednesday. They have now entered a 24-hour fan vote on the official Champions League portal to decide the Player of the Week.

Per the press release: “The Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL continued with eight games on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday gives us time to reflect on the best individual performances.

The 15th Team of the Week saw players from Rytas Vilnius, Elan Chalon, Galatasaray MCT Technic, AEK BC and Dreamland Gran Canaria make the cut.

Ignas Sargiunas warmed up for national team duties by putting on his usual show, including a number of deep three-pointers, dunks and high energy plays which powered Rytas Vilnius to a road win over Hapoel Netanel Holon.

Jeremiah Hill was unstoppable even for the Unstoppables. His high scoring performance was needed for Elan Chalon to hand Asisa Joventut their first BCL defeat, stopping their winning run at nine games.

Bugrahan Tuncer was the spark Galatasaray MCT Technic needed in France. Usually known as an elite passer, Tuncer took up scoring duties against Le Mans Sarthe Basket, as the Turkish giants claimed the tiebreaker.

James Nunnally was a big mid-season addition for AEK BC, and against Karditsa Iaponiki he went off, climbing over the 30-point mark in just over 20 minutes spent on the floor.

Finally, the best big guy of the week was Dreamland Gran Canaria’s Pierre Pelos, playing a perfect game as they took down Pallacanestro Trieste on the road in Italy.”
