Joventut is on the verge of bringing in Jabari Parker, who is expected to head to Spain soon.
According to “EFE”, Joventut wants the former second pick of the NBA draft in their ranks.
Joventut has sent an offer to Partizan for Parker’s loan, and a response from the Belgrade team is expected in the coming hours or days. However, given that Parker hasn’t played for Partizan for weeks, is not in Joan Penarroya’s plans, and missed the Radivoj Korac Cup, it appears the black-and-whites won’t object to letting the American go to Spain.
It’s worth nothing that the Catalan team has been in the market for three weeks, after the contract of American power forward Sam Dekker was terminated because of his shoulder surgery.
The sports management of Joventut wants to finalize the operation as soon as possible, considering that the next official game for the team won’t be until March 8 against Granada in the ACB. If the loan deal is completed, Jabari Parker would return to the Liga Endesa after his stint with Barcelona during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
