Basketball Champions League draw to shape Quarterfinals and Final Four

The Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, enters its final stage with the Quarterfinals and Final Four draw this Friday at 12:00 CET in Badalona.

Eight elite clubs are divided into two pots based on their Round of 16 performance, with seeded group winners AEK, La Laguna Tenerife, Rytas, and Unicaja earning home-court advantage for the best-of-three series against unseeded contenders ALBA Berlin, Asisa Joventut, ERA Nymburk, and Galatasaray MCT Technic.

The draw will determine the path to the Final Four, held May 7–9. Fans can stream the event live on YouTube.

Per the press release: “The Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL has reached the Quarter-Finals stage of its Season X, with eight teams set to learn their opponents on Friday.

The Final Four will be played in Badalona, Spain (May 7-9), and the city also hosts the Quarter-Finals and Final Four Draw at the Badalona Museum. You can watch the draw on BCL’s YouTube channel:

During the draw, eight teams will be divided in two pots. In Pot 1, the seeded teams are the group winners from the Round of 16 phase, including AEK BC, La Laguna Tenerife, Rytas Vilnius and Unicaja.

Those teams will have home court advantage in the best-of-three series in the Quarter-Finals, playing Games 1 and 3 at home.

In Pot 2, the unseeded teams are ALBA BERLIN, Asisa Joventut, ERA Nymburk and Galatasaray MCT Technic.

The only restriction during the draw: Clubs from the same Round of 16 group cannot face each other in the Quarter-Finals.”
